Orchid family (Orchidaceae) is a tribe of flowering plants with members of most types. Most of the members of the tribe live as epiphyte, especially those from tropical regions. Orchids in temperate climates typically lives on the ground and forming bulbs as a way to adapt to winter
the leaves tend to be thick and "fleshy" (succulent) makes it water resistant. Epiphyte orchids can live from dew and damp air
