Color Challenge - Wednesday Yellow. In the Cold Canadian Season .... This Brave Flower Stands Alone in a Garden Down the Road.

I thought this was beautiful and stood out, with everything else around it either withered, removed or died off from the time of year, it really spoke to me -- that is why I tried to frame the shot on my camera phone, the way I did -- so you could see everything else gone or not living anymore all around it.

I pass the fellow's house all the time down the road from me. He has a TON of flowers on his property, he actually earns a living part time from it!

I have been waiting for awhile to share this one, again, believe me!!! Today I was determined to finally find this in my archives and share this and the story of this brave yellow flower!

Samsung S3 used for this photo!

Thanks for reading, have a nice day.

a yellow flower is my favorite color.

It really stands out!

It really is beautiful. The soil and the dead leaves in the background just make its beauty stand out even more.

It is like the dead inside I feel towards Steemit and collusion and politics here and IRL.

lol

Hello, steemian! I hope you"ll be enjoying the pink of health and spirit! Have a nice day!!! This post is amazing and tremendous as it is really captivating! Nature is so vast and admirable but we have no time ti stand near beauty as we are so busy in life activities. Instead of these tasks, we should have look at beautiful natural scenes and admire the glory.

Great contrast between the rose and the background! My family is from New Brunswick!

I spent 6 weeks around NB and PEI on a mission trip years ago, I enjoyed my time out there.

My family is from an area called Boiestown. Very small place on the map, right on the Miramichi river. My mom worked fir rhe school we went to as a cook. She was off all summer, so we would load up into the family car and drive 800 miles to what she called home. So every year we spent over 2 months there. Also visiting PEI. Just before we moved to the Philippines for full time missions, we went to Canada and did some trout and salmon fishing. Almost no houses, no internet. It was great to unplug!
