Wednesday wonders - I

Some folk call Wednesday "hump day" because It's the middle of the working week.  Since I gave up my old day job, and started Sunday Suppers, I'm not sure when it would be hump day for me.  After my mad Monday and a Tuesday that was all over the place, it was good to have a productive day in the office on Wednesday. 

This was my sunset view from my desk.

 

Yes, those are old fashioned power and telephone lines and a Victorian streetlight silhouetted against the sky.

Then I went into my happy place to make pasta and pesto (both from scratch) for supper.  

 

Pasta and pesto with zoodles, mushrooms and mature gouda, a local artisan cheese that's a fabulous Parmesan substitute. 

Wonderful Wednesday. Done.  Very grateful that I live here.

PS  This is a kind of cheeky contribution to @jaynie's #GratitudeTrain as I am not very good at watching for her posts and keeping track.

PPS  My first anniversary on Steemit is approaching.  That will deal with how things have changed in the last year...much to be grateful for.
