I am going to be sharing some breathtaking natural beauties of famous Gurudongmar Lake in the Eastern State of Sikkim, India.
Gurudongmar Lake, the highest lake in India and one of the highest lakes in the world, has some spectacular natural beauty to offer, falls under North Sikkim district and only 5 kms away from Tibetan (Chinese) Border. It's 190 kms far from the Capital City of Sikkim - Gangtok.

If you are snow-lover and want to take full advantage of a frozen lake, visit this place in the winter season. Best time to visit this place in betwen November to Mid-May. The entire stretch of the lake gets frozen. Rugged mountains all around and no trace of greenery are some characteristics of this locals.
