Making off my imaginary friends

My favorite thing to do is to make music. I have been writing rap lyrics since I was 11 years old, around 20 years ago. A good rhyme can make me shudder since I was little, so mastering rap lyrics was on my to do list even before puberty.

For those who have embraced rap culture, they might have felt this pressure about being authentic and not a sell out, all these unwritten rules about how an authentic mc must be hardcore and all. Several years ago, I really felt like I wanted to express myself through rhymes, but when I was leaving myself free to express, I was saying things that I didn't want my audience to connect me with these. I just wanted to make some music for fun and not give an official artistic statement or something.

That is when Tiko came to life. My first puppet rapper, where I could say whatever the hell I wanted, having fun and just making music without caring about anything! It felt so relieving, that I started a whole project based on him, you can check a sample here:

Steemit gave me the starter to restart this concept with the "Steemit song, beat it parody" which I uploaded on Dtube some days ago. I have made 3 new puppets already and I am on my way to the record studio right now! I am thinking of creating a rap muppet show, talking about Steemit and funny thing!

I will leave the future and my creativity to express without planning it.
