Rangoli is the art practiced mostly in South Asian countries like Nepal, India. The art in made on the floor using different flowers, colours, flours and so on.
This is made especially during special ocassions like festival of Dipawali as the practice from hindu religious ritual. Lights also can be placed to make it more attractive.
The main aim is for the purpose of decoration and auspiciousness.
While creating rangoli first of all the outline is made with help of chalk, colour or floor.
It is coloured if necessary. After the outline is made the interior portions are filled with dry materials.
It can be of any geometrical structure except for the special ocassions.
