If the State says that they are forming Laws that are contrary to the Laws of God, are the states laws lawful or merely LEGAL, that is ,they have the form of LAW but are they LAWFUL?

Romans 13:1 Everyone must obey state authorities, because no authority exists without God's permission, and the existing authorities have been put there by God.
GODS; word translation is even more Statist:
Every person should obey the government in power. No government would exist if it hadn't been established by God. The governments which exist have been put in place by God.

As for the 501-c-3 Assumption that every government and authority in man's Government is a minister of GOD, I would ask for a commentary on Hosea 8:4 which states:
"They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off. "
Peter had been arrested for violating the Legal dictates of man and for yielding to the authority of Jesus Christ.
When he was broken out of prison by the Lord he went right back to violating the legal edicts of the chief priests and elders of the Jews. So they were brought back to the counsel to face charges and answer for violating the commands of the legal authority..

If GOD is your KING Who is your lawgiver?
Even if you are delusional enough to believe that God is not your KING. he is Still your lawgiver and it is by HIS law you are judged..

Jesus IS GOD and AS God is your KING and therefore your ONLY LAWGIVER. A local Authority may pass what they call a Law, IF that law is in harmony with the REAL LAW there is no problem, you are NOT obeying man's law you are obeying GOD's they just happen to be the same.
