Hi, my friends, hope you are having a wonderful Saturday and weekend! Mine is, again, a long one :). East Timor is celebrating its 16th restoration of the independence’s anniversary and Monday is day off :))!

Here is my entry to the smartphonephotography contest, by @juliank and @photocontests, and the theme is “leaves”.

My entry is a leave with a message. It was my welcome greeting at the hotel I’ve stayed in when visited Georgetown, in Penang, Malaysia. The paradise of street photography I’ve been showing you. This hotel is a heritage site called The blue mansion, and I will eventually make a post about it. But today I wanted to show this gesture the staff had with me. Inside the basket were some delicious cinnamon cookies 🍪 ♥️.
Who wouldn’t sleep well with this message of Dalai Lama?

Actually, in Asia, you can often be cuddled with messages on leaves. I remember another one, with my name, on the table I had booked in a restaurant. Original, ecological and with taste and style! Don’t you agree?
