Vasco da Gama Tower - Torre Vasco da Gama

Vasco da Gama Tower is a building near Tejo River, in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, was build for EXPO 98,
it have 140 metre and is the highest tower in Portugal.
The construction was inspired by the form of caravel and its sail. Since 2012 is a luxury hotel.

A Torre Vasco da Gama é uma torre junto ao rio Tejo, no Parque das Nações, Lisboa, construída para a EXPO 98, tem 140 m de altura e é o arranha-céus mais alto de Portugal.
A sua construção foi inspirada na Caravela e nas suas velas. Desde 2012 funciona como hotel de luxo.

    There is a tower along the coast from where I live that looks like the curved part of the one in your photo. It's called The Sail.

                              Esta torre é linda!! Tenho a sorte de poder olhar a janela e ver esta torre magnifica no horizonte. Sem duvida uma das maravilhas da antiga Expo98. No ano novo costumam lançar fogo de artificio de lá e é simplesmente lindo! Bom post @psos Abraço
