I thought you would enjoy this piece of history. This is the Dodge Power Wagon; they started production in 1934 for the Army. The first year this was produced it had a 94HP 230 cubic inch flathead six cylinder with a four speed manual transmission. This Four wheel drive was as super tough, and they produced 226,776 during wartime. The public latched onto these trucks because of there durability, and they were used in many rough applications. Up here in the North West many were used in logging, with the saying that they could " climb a tree ".
This Power Wagon sits at our neighbor's off grid cabin; it has new tires but I am not sure when it last ran. I am sure there are many up here tucked into the hills still pulling their own weight!!!

My friend had a Power Wagon back in the late '70s. Could take that thing a lot of places. Even immovable objects got out of the way. :)
