Das heutige Fotothema des Smartphone-Wettbewerbs von @juliank sind "Ampeln" und da heute in Wien auch der Life Ball stattfindet, poste ich ein Foto von den über 49 Ampeln, die in Wien für den Life Ball und Song Contest (2015) umgestaltet wurden.
Die "Ampelpärchen" stellen gemischte und gleichgeschlechtliche Paare dar und sollen das Motto des Life Balls für mehr Liebe und Toleranz transportieren.
Die Aktion ist einzigartig und nicht ganz unumstritten, hat aber Wien international bekannt gemacht und das verstaube Image der Stadt ein wenig modernisiert.
Today's theme for the smartphone photo contest by @juliank are "traffic lights" and as the Life Ball takes place today in Vienna, I thought to post a photo of the more than 49 traffic lights that have been redesigned for the Life Ball and Song Contest (2015).
The new pedestrian traffic lights depict mixed and same-sex couples spreading the spirit of the Life Ball for more love and tolerance.
The project is unique and not without controversy, but has made Vienna internationally known and polished the outmoded image of the city a bit.
