Shooting with a phone camera these days can product stunning results. I don't utilize it enough so my skills are not as good as they could be. I still think with a DSLR brain.
I look a scene or a building and think I wish I had my camera I could capture this amazing image but never really think to pull out my phone and shoot.
I was sitting in this newly renovated restaurant and noticed the sun reflecting off of the glass in the bar. My friends were encouraging me to take a picture but as usual I stated that I didn't bring my camera. However they reminded me that I had a camera in my pocket.
I love the colours of the lighting in the image as well as the fact that I captured the light rays. It wasn't something I expected from a phone. I did some editing with the VSCO app and created an image I really love. I think it will take sometime for me to get into the habit of using my phone more and more as a photography tool. One of biggest reasons why is the lack of control you have with it. I shoot everything in manual on my DSLR and it allows me to produce the images I want. I think it will just take time to build my skills with a phone and understand its advantages and limitations. I'd love to hear from you guys about how you use your phones, the apps you use for editing and people that inspire you as phone image makers.
Happy creating everyone and have a great day!
Scott

Phone cameras are becoming advance but of course, real camera is still the best in term of the quality of the image it can produce.
