Just a little while ago, I singed up for Smartsteem. I then set up vote selling. This is my how good it has been so far.
It took just a few minute for the first vote to sell. At 6:48 PM, my first vote sold, and @naturalworld got $0.036. Soon after that, more votes started selling. Me and my 147 Steempower have sold our first vote. Even more surprising, I had only 60%ish voting power. This is great for minnows who want to sell their votes but can't with services like minnowbooster, which require you to have a good amount of Steempower before your votes start selling.
Those four votes have netted me $0.044 SBD plus the curation that I get from them. Thats pretty good for me. You have plenty of control over when your vote gets sold, with setting such as autopayout, only voting if your voting power is above a certain percentage, and who you will vote for.
So if you are a minnow who wants to sell your vote, I would recommend Smartsteem for you. Plus, minnowbooster, what the hell was this, a negative payment?!?!?!?!:
At what point can a minnow start vote-selling, I guess not for me with 0.01 rated upvote worth. How do I gain prominence on steem ? I will be glad if you can guide me. I'm following you already.

I don't know when minnowbooster will sell your vote. Minnow booster says that your vote needs to be worth at least $0.06 in order for them to start selling your vote. I've signed up for it, but only 1 autovote has happened, and its the one with the negative payout(how does that even happen). I still love minnowbooster, and think that they are great, but their voteselling isn't for minnows. Everything else is great for minnows though. To gain prominence on steem, I'm not the best buy to ask. There are tons of guides floating around, just search for one. But here's what I say: Be unique and be you. You will grow slowly at first, but you still will grow. It can be tough at first but as time goes on, you will get better. Most importantly, don't give up.
