I was people watching smoking a few joints 😅 while missing blocks left right and centre.

Having started into playing with things on linux I ran into my first major complication as witness, my server ran out of space and started replacing blocks. This ended up with me forking the chain twice having to do an entire resync before realizing what was happening and hopefully solving the issue...

In short... old IPFS files were left on my witness drive along with logs getting huge and it seems as if the IPFS hosting path reset while I have been playing with things... cleared 50GB by deleting the IPFS files and random logs...

We are running again!

While I was fiddling I setup the ufw firewall and SSH logins & created an account for myself and @techcoderx... I have finally figured out how to open ports on my ISP’s hardware so IPFS & SSH are fully working...

Since @techcoderx setup the IPFS Node before I had any idea how to even open a terminal 😉 with SSH setup and working again he should be able to set the pinning destination back to the dedicated 2TB drive solving this issue and most importantly make sure it doesn’t reset again.... I believe I skrewed it up while updating pm2.... which brings me to...

Auto Start Smoked?

Anyone know how to setup the “smoked session” to automatically restart on server start using pm2.... I had it working before I started setting up @onelovesmoke and when I went to update pm2 I did some things wrong and pm2 reset... forgot to save... now I cannot seem to find where I discovered the original instructions 4 months ago in the first place...

Has The Idea Of Being A Witness Crossed Your Mind?
For me it started as a desire to learn if I could do it.
