Scrog your babe up!

What's up Smoke Network! First post here =]] . Sharing my babe pics in a scrog run!!

1.2.jpg

Why scrog? Well ...I can think many reasons:
-If the law at your location only allow a few number of plants this is a way to maximize your yields!
-One monster plant will use fewer Ferts and Media than a lot of smaller plants!
-Less job too...And if you really get it right you will get the better yield you ever had in terms of Ounces!
-Doing Scrog allows the plant to keep all branches at the same level, which will provide the same potency in all buds!! This is crucial if you are looking for an even dosage of your medication!

Strain - Pineapple Chunk from Barney's farm! Very fast growing and Strong plant!!

Best way to scrog is start with a small pot, and Top twice!

Do a little LST to keep the branches leveled.

You will see a lot of new happy branches coming up =]]

Keep doing it! Every day! you can take a few cuttings at this point!!

small but beautiful

Put in the bigger and definitive pot, Install your screen!

Forget about expensive pro screens, a few PVC pipes and a line will do the job!! Notice that my run off goes thru a hole in the bottom of my tray, this is crucial to set up to avoid extra job!

Keep doing your thing! Put the rebels branches under the screen and let it grow horizontally:

Omg! Now you are good to go to the Flowering Stage!! She will become a monster!!

Beautiful plant, how much do you think u will get out of her?

I think between 150 and 200 GRAMs (5.3 to 7.2 ounces) is a safe guess! but can be more.
The area is small 80cm x 80cm, light 400w hps in flower ... and only 84w white fluor in veg

It's new every Saturday night. Did you make the cut?

uhul! Awesome!

Right on! Lst and scrog! Blaze it!

:)

So nice!! Ive used the tressil like that before but since I’m always rotating plants in and out of flower it was just way to dangerous. Always snapping branches. I’m an amateur grower and I️ like what I️ see. Definitely a follow for you! I’m trying to do a decent grow journal with my perpetual grow. Stop by so maybe you can give me some pointers on the way. 🙏

Hey @jonyoudyer! .. Yeah when using a scrog or tressil you must set up everything before, like a tray with the runoff going directly to waste and the plants in the right position with easy access for watering... so you don't have to move them till the harvest, I sure will stop by your journal. I'm thinking starting one too =]

Yeah for me it really sucks cause my humidity runs 50-60%! I got a small closet and kinda got tired of pumping $ in the grow since it’s for the head. I got to spray often for the white powder mildew. It’s hard work but my buds turn out well.

Wow that's super clean! I'm going to be doing something similar in my home grow because I can only have like a dozen plants at the moment.

thanks @dajohns1420! Worth the trying for sure. It will help to cover all the area available too, with leveled tops and by doing so giving more free space at the top of the tent, that's nice if you are in a hot place, helps to cool down and improves air flow
