Good morning Stemians, as another summer comes to an end I find myself sitting in my kitchen enjoying this antioxidant filled smoothie and reflecting on the past few months. My daughter was just a few weeks old when the summer began and now, even though she should be napping, I can hear her softly cooing from her swing. This summer we experienced her first smile, her first roll over, the first time she slept through the night, her first fever, and her first heart-warming giggle. It has been the most emotional summer of my life and I am the happiest that I have ever been. Even though I am sad to see summer end as fall approaches my husband and I are looking forward to many more firsts. I am grateful everyday that I am surrounded by love and that I am able to share some of that with you. Cheers to the end of summer!
- 1 cup milk (or almond milk)
- 1 banana
- 1 peach
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 acai packet (I use Sambazon)
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
