Raspberry Banana Smoothie

  Who loves raspberries? They are so good and so good for you too. Raspberries are full of vitamin C that helps build up your immune system.  It’s antioxidants that help reduce free radicals and phytonutrients prevent inflammation. It has even been proven that raspberry ketons help burn fat cells in your stomach! Yay for a flatter tummy and a tasty drink.   

  • 1 cup unsweet almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries

Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.  Enjoy!

Looks tasty. What about adding some ice to make a smoothy or freeze it for popsicles?

I like to use the frozen fruit instead of ice, this would make an excellent popsicle.

I thought i had a few wild growing, probably from bird poop, raspberry bushes growing in the garden which i tied up with rope to spread it a bit etc. but it turned out to be japanese wineberries.. i couldn't be happier, they taste great and apparently bugs don't like them, which was different with the raspberry bush we had a few years back where there was almost in every berry a maggot-like thing.

You seem like a smoothie expert, what the main difference between frozen and fresh fruits being blended? Thanks
