There could be many categories within the field of plant medicine including specific ailments and illnesss and their local natural remedies in various regions of the world. Experiences of successes and failures in dealing with various health issues could also be shared by the community.

Unfortunately these ancient and effective practices have been slandered by powerful players with interests that necessitate spreading disinformation through educational institutions and regulation and censoring by any means, including force. This means there is a real need for rewarding this information in a system that wants to hide it.

The initial purpose of the SMT and Community will be built around providing access to the best natural plant remedies from the crowd and rewarding healing information that is in demand.

For years I have been planning a farm and a cooperative farming community that focuses on local organic food. I have also wanted to combine this with plant medicine and grow herbs along with fruits and vegetables. More recently I started to think about a decentralized market with a cryptocurrency to facilitate it all.

The knowledge of plants as medicines is ancient to the generations of medicine men and women that have passed it down over time. It is a tragic loss each time one of these wise elders passes away without someone to carry it forward for the next generation.

Thankfully in recent years, many have come to see the ineffectiveness of synthetic medicines compared to plant medicines. There is also a movement to decentralize farming - going back to an older way, a more decentralized way of farming, with more farmers spread everywhere that can sustain quality, organic, healthy food for the local market. Cryptocurrency could facilitate this process.

It is not relatively profitable to sell plant medicines because anyone can grow them. It should be a natural right to grow any type of medicinal plant or have access to any plant that you like as long as you are not harming anyone.
