Thanks @bulleth. Can you explain a bit more how more money coming into STEEM benefits the typical user. It sounds like a good thing to me but I am not sure why that is. Does it increase the value of Steem (raise the price per coin?). Does it translate to more users on the Steemit platform? How can a typical user benefit from this? What can I do to maximize that benefit?

Ceteris paribus, more demand = higher price :)
The higher the STEEM price, the more SBD you get per post and the more your STEEM POWER is worth :)
