That's exactly what happened to me last year @papa-pepper when I got half-bitten by that copperhead HA HA. It got my finger because I grabbed it too far back behind the head. You just have blood poisoning.
Looks like you are going to be fine. In fact after looking at your hand and arm it makes me fear getting bit by a Cotton Mouth much less. You will just be swelled up a few days and that's it. Be sure to give us a snake bite report in a few days to make sure it is going away.
Too funny you mention a guy that got bit so much he was immune to snake bites. I've always wanted to let venomous snakes purposely bite me so I could do that too and be immune to venomous snake bites. I know that sounds stupid getting bit by poisonous snakes but I don't care. If I could one day be immune that would be awesome and I could really mess with people's head watching me let a poisonous snake bite me for fun because I know it wouldn't effect me HA HA.

I'm with you in allowing the body to do its own healing. And $20K a vial is ridiculous at best.
That said, I gave you the recipe for a healing lotion that might help, in a comment on your earlier post about getting bitten. Hope it helps.
