A Trail (Document) On The Trend of Events At The (@sndbox) Alexandria Library Project.

in sndboxquest •  7 years ago  (edited)

With the spirits resident at @sndbox we took a hazy flight down to wonderland with @anomadsoul and @GuyFawkes4-20 as co-pilots.

Little did we imagine that we were down for something more like an adventurous journey in a mission to arrive at @sndbox.

With the speed of light I streamed in action following @GuyFawkes4-20 proposition which he made in his last piece of writing.

He spoke expressively, “Also, one member of each team will have to make an additional post documenting the evolution of the project, how well you managed your theoretical budget and everything else you came up with after the working period”.

First in retrospect, I reminiscence, been a successful candidate of the writing contest was the dream birthed to reality on the platform @anomadsoul and @GuyFawkes4-20 created to become bridge leading to @sndbox. So also were the members of my team (The Alexandria Library Project) and the larger family members successful in their different contest.

@anomadsoul spoke to me and the Spirit of his words entered into my spin and set me on my feet; saying to me he said you and the others have got an invitation to join the discord server. This everyone except for @ericha did in response. And with that came a premise from the organizers, instructing everyone to pick a project he/she was comfortable to slide with.

This I and many did except for @jakeybrown and as such was disqualified following his indecision. With all the prospective projects on the table I naturally fell cheap for the idea that @jhnmunoz birthed considering the path my steemit story has navigated.

Over the process of time @nobyeni decided not to join the quest and then went on an earlier retirement, we had no choice but send her our best wishes.

Been on the project team of The Alexandria Library Project, you could see that there was magic here for me; the dream has come to be. But it was time to prove we all made the right decision.

Though disadvantage with in our numeric strength we leveraged on the small size of our group to birth and agree quickly on the idea @jhnmunoz sold to us. After getting ourselves introduced it was time to birth ideas with the race against time buzzing.

Please come alone, follow me, as I lead you through the dark with a sparkle of light, to let you see through the glass, in a view into the proceedings, meetings and minds of the team members of the @sndbox/ Alexandria Library Project

When one member improvised, the others had to scrutinize and then after the scrutiny we fell back to strategize, in some cases came the spirits ( @anomadsoul and @GuyFawkes4-20) that led us up when our feet feels weak and weary to breathe some air of clarity.

In less than no time on the process we were walking (and running) on waters, birthing mind blowing ideas that will leave you lost and stunned in the dark valley of wonder.

These ideas primarily hinged on the edges of the propagation of @jhnmunoz

("Seriously, there are so many talented people here in Steemit and sometimes it’s sad to see how many of them have gone unnoticed, have been underrated and mostly unrewarded", said @jhnmunoz.).

Forthwith we proceeded to the process of inputting the juicy stimulant that might spice the dream to life.

The path of our discussions followed the path of the rhythm of a beautiful music made by an artist for you to just cherish. In the process we made so many propositions that will give sight to the blind and insight to the mind, in case you don't understand please ask.

  • First off, we obligated ourselves to follow each other on steemit, this I will further like to sell to the extended family at large. With this I perceive we could aid each other down the line of our existence on the ecosystem. Weather your flight land at @sndbox or keeps flying on steemit, the family ties stay strong as concrete and mutually aiding team/ team member through the bulky process of our steemit experience
  • Next off, we had to go to work, with the first step been to familiarize ourselves with the historic Alexandria library, with this @ihansunrise; helped us out with a link which helped us with an exposition.
  • Furthermore, with that information I wanted to swing into work but @leebaong suggested that we get the guidelines from the team leader. But the leader @jhnmunoz directed that we work simultaneously so that we could slide of fluidity when it comes to the race against time.
  • Next off, came the idea of making a buzz of the @sndbox library on steemit this we decided to do by creating content that will publicize it. This also could be achieved with resteeming post related to the @sndbox library. But further came, an angel @anomadsoul  that heaven sent to set our project alight to our aid, offering to fly The Alexandria Library banner on the edges of his naturally supernatural steemit experience sandwiched in high level of popularity.
  • I proposed and we went further to agree that the library be segmented into sections using different tags according to different topic, this we envisaged to achieve by first using the primary tag #Alexandrialibrary and then the sub tag to properly place it in the right section as the text applies

  • Next, with ideas spinning on the wheels of steel, I propagated creating an account for the Library. @leebaong favored the idea of creating just one account that will represent the whole library structure than creating different accounts for the different segments; this idea was bought by the general team members.
  • With this in mind @jhnmunoz offered to help with the process. The process was facilitated by a fee of 6.1steem which was shared among the members of the team sequential to that the account went live with @jhnmunoz making it first post on the proposed and @ihansunrise translating to his language. Furthermore @jhnmunoz projected that she will do her model of the translation in her language as well.
  • @lindahas later told the house that she will be on holiday that she might not be able to participate effectively but everyone pleaded for presence to abide with us, and I tell you her contribution have been timely massive. And I think she will be back in time to make her impression far felt just as she said. .
  • @lindahas proposed that the content created by the steemians associated with library, be properly cited and written with a great attention paid to grammatical construction especially when it comes to pieces of writting in relation to literature. She went further to said,
“When you say "alexandria" for me it is like a Wikipedia of history”.
    She tends to favor history
  • We then arrival at a point where we had to develop a game plan for the layout of the contest organization and @ihansunrise generously offered to make and bake the rules on the edges of our discussions where we proposed that the minimum word requirement should be around 500 words or more and a follow up on the translation should be done sequentially after the post to cut across every language represented.
  • I went further to offer to do a piece of writing on an overview/action Plan of the Alexandria library project, this as we speak has been executed and you can find it

    here

if you wish to have a quick glance on what the piece looks like. And @jhnmunoz proposed to develop its translation.
  • Over the process of our discussion @ihansunrise  got everyone reminded to about the process of documenting the trail of event at the @sndbox Library hub as we slide with innovative ideas, so we can get up to speed with the final process of documenting the proceeding as we slide. That I took to heart and decided to birth this summary that documents all the proceeding and meeting vested in the processes through every event as we went from start to the  finish line
  • At some point @leebaong suggest we organize a contest for the logo creation but @jhnmunoz went to the drawing board and birthed five different logos which were all beautiful I must say. This made it difficult for the team member to come to a confluence point of decision. With this, she was motivated to revisit the drawing board in a bid to redesign a logo that frames the idea of team in confluence.
  • Furthermore @leebaong talked about the budget which proposed, that we make a financial plan to sponsor the proposed contest with the theoretical 100SBD segmenting the prizes into 10SBD, 8SBD and 5SBD for the first, second and third position respectively. And he proposed that 2SBD be giving to those worthy of recognition. He went further to ask @anomadsoul for fund for the contest organization considering the huge amount of the fund required over the process of time.
@anomadsoul responded, “You will have rewards on your posts. All of your personal posts and the project posts. Perhaps you can find prizes with that, remember sndbox has 130k sp to support you guys and more delegations are coming, also guy and I will be supporting your posts”. What a leverage we have on this kind of support base from Mr. Eric.
  • Struggling with the idea of visibility, @anomadsoul jumped on it and offered to fly the flag of the @sndbox library. Further confused on how the process of posting our piece of writing will look like, @anomadsoul came clean with a bit of clarity. He favored posting it on steemit admonishing us to use any tag we are pleased; he went further to say he will create a channel for link dropping which is up live as speak.
  • When it came to plagiarism issues @GuyFawkes4-20 helped us with a piece of information on what works like wild fire for him. He said “I use Grammarly Premium to check for plagiarism at ocd. Works like a charm”.
  • Going further, I thought about the ancient Alexandria library in retrospect and discovered that, as part of the library were lecture room where discussions and analysis took place. With this in mind I suggested that a discord server be created with different channels that favored the various segments of the library. this tickle the interest of @jhnmunoz who offered to create the server.

As clear as it is, You might struggle to Predict the direction of the wind, but surely You can't deny its effect.

With the sure help from the gods who have come down to us in the likeness of men (@anomadsoul, @GuyFawkes4-20 and the @sndbox team), the dream has come to be.

For once, there was beauty here for me. For once there was magic here for the team.
