Snowy morning in Chamonix

So even if you time for late season end of February or early March - the mountains still get good falls of snow and when it was bright and sunny the day before, you wake up and look out of the chalet to this.

Sometimes you can get high up enough the mountain to clear the clouds, otherwise it can be difficult going when you have dull light it can be difficult to see the bumps in the snow - if you are not prepared hitting one can knock you off balance causing a painful fall.

Wow awesome view!

I can't remember exactly the last time when i saw so much snow but it must be in my childhood 😅

Greetings from

We don't get hardly any snow in the UK now - I remember being snowed out of school regularly in my childhood but not in recent years. I do like heading to the mountains though, and of course the good thing about a Ski-Resort is you get to sit down while going up the mountain :-)
