True Love Will Find You!

In a society filled with dishonorable males, girls gone wild, angry bitter females and misogynistic men, the Lord gave me a prophetic Word especially for you. It may look like it will never happen for you, but the Lord told me to tell you, “Don’t be discouraged, True Love will find you!”

Will I Ever Find True Love?
Everywhere I travel, I meet multitudes of Believers, (both men and women) who confide in me how discouraged they are in finding a suitable mate. The men describe the caliber of women they are encountering in the church. Women who say they are believing God for a mate while at the same time practicing selective promiscuity.

Women who have serious unresolved issues. Issues such as: harboring hatred for their fathers, distrust of men, overall bitterness against the male gender, unforgiveness from past relationships, anger from failed marriages, soul ties with past lovers and harmful physical, psychological and emotional issues from having had numerous sex partners, abortions and contracting sexually transmitted diseases.

In the same manner, the women describe the type of men they are encountering in the church. Men who profess to know Christ, but could only be classified as pew pimps, liars and cheaters. Men who are playing church while practicing homosexuality. The women frequently talk about the passive men, momma’s boys, spiritually lethargic men and men who only want to, “hit it and quit it” with a woman of God.

Amazingly, in their broken, incomplete and sinful states, these men and women fervently pursue relationships and marriage. After encountering such a string of misogynistic men, girls gone wild, dishonorable males and angry bitter females, a person could easily get discouraged.

No wonder so many good men and virtuous women are left reeling and wondering, “Lord, will I ever find and experience True Love?”

What Has Happened To The Church?
A number of things have happened. First, there is an alarming number of carnal Christians in the Body of Christ. Their numbers are increasing daily as ministers shun preaching the uncompromised Word of God and opt to preach what is popular, faddish, politically or religiously correct.

Their parishioners have no sensitivity to the voice of the Holy Spirit. They pick and choose which parts of the Word of God they will obey and which parts they will squint their eyes at. These churchgoers will literally become perturbed if you infer that the Lord demands that they live holy, exude integrity, practice sexual purity and pursue the will of God.

Secondly, there is a swarm of individuals who are attending church, singing the songs of Zion, giving offerings, teaching Sunday School and preaching, but they ARE NOT saved! (See Mark 7:6-9). They covertly use the sanctum of the church as hunting grounds… seeking babes in Christ and carnal Christians to relieve their sexual urges and fulfill their fantasies.

Finally, the church for the most part, either neglects, altogether refuses or is too religious to talk about sex. Truth be said, most people in the church learn about love, sex and relationships the same way sinners do.

By watching shows like: MTV, BET, Blind Date, Soul Train, Sex in the City and Girlfriends and by listening to the latest hip-hop tracks. By the time they have been indoctrinated by the media, music and Hollywood, they are subject to believe that being an emotional wreck, committing domestic violence or having multiple sex partners is a COOL THING!

Based on all of the negative information I’ve shared thus far, here are eight critical truths that will help you sift through the mass number of dishonorable males and unsuitable females --and find True Love.

(1) God has glorious plans for your love life
(2) God didn’t design you to be alone
(3) The devil has a secret plot to ruin your love life
(4) Good men and women do exist!
(5) The Lord will give you the desires of your heart!
(6) Be trained to reign!
(7) Fight the good fight of faith
(8) True Love will find you!

God’s Has Glorious Plans For Your Love Life!
The first thing you must know and accept concerning your love life is that God has glorious plans specifically for you! Read them carefully:

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

The Lord spells out those plans in the same chapter of Jeremiah…

Jeremiah 29:5-7 NIV
5 "Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.
6 Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease.
7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."

Did you carefully read those Scriptures? Read them again. His plans are for you to settle down, marry and be prosperous! The Lord goes on to say…

Isaiah 32:18
And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

You Were Not Designed To Be Alone
This next point is so critical, that you may have to let it marinate in your spirit overnight before you get it.

Genesis 2:18
The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

The Lord Himself stated that it was not good that you be alone! Those are not the words of Gillis Triplett. And they are not the words of an eclectic Bible scholar or some well-known minister. Those are the Words of the Lord God Almighty! The same one who engineered and wired you and breathed into you the breath of life.

Certain ministers will attempt to refute this truth using malignant man-made theology. But in real life outside of the confines of their fleshly inspired hermeneutics and apologetics, they are unable to respond to the spiritual, emotional, physical and psychological side effects of longing to be loved and the desire to pro-create.

You were not wired to be alone and there is no way around that truth. By the time you put all of the scriptures together the picture becomes crystal clear. It is the will of God for you to find and experience True Love!

Satan’s Secret Plot…
This is the part most Believers don’t get. They have heard about God’s glorious plans for their love lives, but they have never comprehended satan’s plot. Write this down: the devil is hell-bent on ruining your life!

Psalms 2:1-3 [Emphasis added]
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

The Psalmist said the devil and his demon cohorts are enraged! Verses two and three reveals how their negative energy fuels them to conspire against you. Know this for a certainty: the devil DOES NOT want to see you in a vibrant, blessed, God-ordained marital union. He will fight tooth and nail to prevent that glorious day from coming to pass in your life. Here’s what the scriptures reveal about satan’s evil plot against you.

Psalms 37:12
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

Amongst other things, some of his primary schemes are to…

(a) Lure, seduce, coerce, trick or manipulate you into a dead-end, destructive, on-again–off again, or deadly relationship
(b) Lure, seduce, coerce, trick or manipulate you into a horrible marriage
(c) Tempt you into committing sexual sin and afterwards, leave you pregnant and alone or infected with the HIV/AIDS virus or some other sexually transmitted disease
(d) Lure you into a relationship or marriage in which you become a victim of abuse, domestic violence, date rape, paternity fraud or marital fraud
(e) Lure, seduce, coerce, trick or manipulate you to lose your virginity to a jerk or some other sexually misguided individual!

Good Men and Women Do Exist!
One of things satan does so masterfully is convince those who desire to find True Love that they will never find a suitable mate. He brings them to a spiritually, mentally and emotionally crippling point in their life where they believe that no good men exist and all of the virtuous women have been taken.

Once a person buys into those noxious lies, they will be handcuffed into hopelessness and shackled into depression.

In I Kings 19, through a chain of traumatic events, satan had ingeniously tricked Elijah into believing that he was the sole righteous man left on the earth. Elijah was so distraught over his perceived dilemma that he opted to commit suicide rather than be the only Believer amongst the heathen.

What Elijah perceived and what was factual were two different things. Elijah was sidetracked because he was misled by the voice of the enemy, (See Psalm 55:3). The Lord wiped away Elijah’s melancholy when He showed him five thousand men who had not bowed their knees to Baal.

Be absolutely clear on this next point…

The devil is working overtime to convince you that all virtuous women are taken and no good men exist. Don’t buy into those lies.

There are multitudes of men and women who have not bowed their knees to satan! Men and women who have not turned their flesh over to sin. Men who don’t have destructive personality traits and women who aren’t harboring harmful emotional baggage. Good Men and Women Do Exist!

I Will Give You The Desires Of Your Heart!
May this passage of Scripture forever ring in your heart!

Psalm 37:4-5
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

The Lord promises that if you will delight yourself in Him, HE WILL give you the desires of your heart! That word “delight,” means: to make yourself pliable to. When you make yourself pliable to the Lord’s Word, He will give you the desires of your heart… including your desire to find and experience True Love!

Be Trained To Reign!
One of the greatest areas I see so many Believers blow it at, is a lack of training in the areas of love, sex, relationships and marriage. The apostle Paul said it like this:

2 Corinthians 2:11
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

That word “devices,” means: sophisticated trickery, dastardly tactics and evil schemes. To be ignorant of satan’s underhanded tricks puts you at a great disadvantage. For example, most Christians DON’T KNOW how satan snares people into abusive relationships. Or, how he is able to trap women of God into marriages with men who secretly practice homosexuality.

The prophet Hosea put it like this in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge…” That lack of knowledge has been the Achilles heel for many Believers. Jot this next vital point down.

Without proper training, you WILL NOT have the proper knowledge!

You read earlier how satan plots against us. When it comes to love, sex, relationships and marriage, the devil has an ARSENAL of booby traps he uses to snare both the saved and the unsaved, (See II Timothy 2:26). Here’s a short list.
• Domestic violence • Divorce
• Sexually Transmitted Diseases • Adultery
• Stalking • Women Left Pregnant and Alone
• Paternity Fraud • Date Rape
• Spousal Abandonment • Spousal Murder
• Marital Abuse • False Rape/Abuse Charges

How successful has satan been in influencing others to assist him in laying these traps? A simple search of the statistics will numb you. But praise God; with the proper training you can avoid becoming a statistic!

Fight The Good Fight of Faith
In your quest to find and experience True Love, you are required to fight. Not a physical fight, but a mental and spiritual fight. As I previously showed you, satan is bent on discouraging you. Don’t be discouraged, distressed or dejected. At times you will have to do just like David did and encourage yourself in the Lord, (See I Samuel 30:6).

True Love Will Find You!
What God has promised you concerning your love life will come to pass! The Lord is not slack concerning His promises! Engrave this scripture into your heart:

Psalm 37:23
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

The Lord is ordering your steps!

That word “ordered,” means: preparing and adjusting. The Lord is working behind the scenes; preparing and adjusting your steps and the steps of your mate–to-be, to bring the both of you to the place where have a DIVINE CONNECTION! Make this confession of faith out loud: “the Lord is ordering my steps, therefore True Love will find me!”

Hold fast to your confession of faith and True Love will find you, God bless!
