Welcome to week 14 of the SoCal Spotlight!

Each week the SoCal Spotlight highlights five of the awesome posts from #socalsteemit! So, lets dive on in and see what kind of cool stuff the SoCal Steemians have been posting about this week!

This week we start out on a sombre note, @dawg-boy tells us about the recent passing of his father, and how he plans to finish his fathers unfinished project of rebuilding a 1930 Austin 7.

In our third spotlight post this week @mariannewest had a "Mini Steemit Meetup" with @dreemsteem at Mission Bay in San Diego! She tells us about their walk around the bay and all the great conversations they had. As well as scoping out the area for possible future Steemit meetups!

In our next featured post @artedellavita tells us all about her career path and how she always wanted to own her own business. And now she owns her own spa! She's received numerous certifications and provides a plethora of services from skin care, to hypnotherapy, to pole dance classes, and more!

In our fifth and final post this week @jnetsworld tells us how she found our @socalsteemit community and attended her first Steemit meetup with the group! Some aspects of Steemit had her frustrated, but after meeting and talking with other Steemians in real life she's feeling refreshed and excited about the future our Steemit community!!
