First goal = 13 minutes
After scoring a 96th minute winner to steal all the points for Man City away to Bournemouth, Raheem Sterling was sent off having received a second yellow card from referee Mike Dean for celebrating with the fans. You would have thought common sense would have prevailed in the circumstances. I know the ref was only abiding by the letter of the law however maybe there needs to be a directive allowing more discretion where second yellow cards are concerned. It's a nonsense.
Liverpool handed Arsenal a one-sided beat down when the Londoners visited Anfield. Even without Coutinho, Liverpool look a potent force. Even with Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal look spent. The Gunners should have splashed the cash on Thomas Lemar, however he wanted to go to Liverpool. Midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlian did leave Arsenal to join Liverpool in the week. It sums up where the two clubs are right now.
Manchester United continue to roll over all comers as Leicester City succumb at Old Trafford. Chelsea did what they were suppose to do at home to Everton. And Tottenham surprisingly lost "at home" to Burnley. The Wembley curse on Spurs is real, it seems!
