Jordan Ayew and Luka Milivojevic scored late goals to give Crystal Palace a 2-0 victory against opponents Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
Crystal Palace dominated the game in the first half, holding most of the ball possession. But it still ended up seeming like a slow half, with few opportunities being created before the break and Palace wasting the chances they had managed to create.
Wolves who had struggled to get in the game during the first half, seemed to improve after the break, but they lacked in their finishing and couldn't put themselves ahead of their opponents.
Palace who had been unable to score in 2 straight games, finally opened the scoring in the 82nd minute. Ayew gave Crystal Palace the lead after the ball fell to him from Patrick Van Aanholt's shot, with him finishing things off from 6 yards.
Ruben Neves almost equalised for Wolves in stoppage time, but goalkeeper Vicente Guaita was able to get a palm to it and sent the ball wide.
Ryan Bennett fouls Zaha in the area and a penalty is awarded to Palace in the fourth minute of stoppage time. This'll be the last action of the game. Luka Milivojevic takes the penalty and doubles Crystal Palace's lead before the final whistle is blown.
With the win, Crystal Palace still remain at the 14 position but they are now 6 points away from the relegation zone.
