Sevilla vs Athlético Madrid

Athlético Madrid grabbed a 1-1 draw against Sevilla after a wonderful free kick from Antoine Griezmann put his side back in the game.
Sevilla showed some wonderful play early in the game, with them taking the initiative for most of the first half.
Andre Silva had a wonderful effort on goal, but was unfortunate to be denied after the ball came off the woodwork.
Sevilla took a well deserved lead in the 37th minute, following some wonderful passing in the box, that saw Ben Yedder finish with an unstoppable ball from close range.
Ben Yedder almost doubled Sevilla's lead but was unfortunate to be denied by Athlético keeper Jan Oblack.
Athlético pulled themselves back in the game just before half time, after a world class free kick from Griezmann was sent into the top right corner of the net.
Sevilla were unlucky to go into half time on leveled terms, as they had been the more attacking side but just lacked finishing.
Ben Yedder almost repeats his first half success in the second but narrowly misses the net after being put clean through on goal.
Griezmann should have put his side ahead later on, with Athlético's best chance in the second half but had his effort saved by the keeper.
The game eventually ended with both sides unable to find the net once more. Both sides sharing the spoils with a goal each.
The game leaves second placed Athlético Madrid in their current spot with 35 points, while Sevilla also remain at their current place at the third spot with 33 points. Barcelona will be looking to move 5 points clear of Athlético with a victory over Getafe.
