The Monaco star will stay a little longer to Stamford Bridge and he will fly to London this week for a medical test.

Chelsea will pay up to 40 million pounds for Bakayoko, a player who is experiencing a bit of trouble in the knee. The player's medical tests were even delayed earlier because of this and the 22-year-old player had to undergo minor surgery to overcome them.

The Telegraph said that the operation would force Bakayoko to miss the start of the season, considering that it would take time to regain its stamina and condition.

Bakayoko will probably also not follow pre-season with his team-mates anyarnya. Reports in France even claimed the midfielder might be sidelined for about ten weeks, though that did not make Chelsea flinch.

Chelsea thinks the player has only a minor injury and is ready to make Bakayoko their third recruit this summer.
