FACEBOOK JAIL

If you're wondering what the hell a facebook jail is, it's exactly what it sounds and looks like. Facebook has launched a TON of policies that can land you in this "facebook jail". And once you are locked up, there's no telling when you get released. You no longer have access to certain features or worst, your account gets SUSPENDED permanently.

I found a great article on what to do and what not to do when it comes to facebook jail:

If you work or promote for a company within Facebook, you need to be very cautious on how you do things. For example, adding friends too quickly will land you in the jail. Yes, it's gotten that ridiculous.

We all know that Facebook is a place for connecting with friends, family, classmates, coworkers, and other people you know well. But a lot of businesses and companies are using facebook as a platform to advertise and to be honest, it's genius.

There are groups that are made specifically for entrepreneurs. There are groups for people that are looking for ways to make an income from home. And this is the best place to find it.

I, myself, promote a business and this business does VERY well. But it gets very tricky when you make a post and then one minute later, you have 60 plus people asking for information. There is no possible way to answer all these people at once. And having to message people ONE-by-ONE, it is time consuming.

If you are caught copying and pasting the INFO that has been requested from the client too quickly, BAM! Jail you go! This makes it very difficult for promoters like myself. Of course, I can always make a fan page...but some companies FORBID it. So how do you go about this and avoid facebook jail?

Honestly, facebook has become a pain in the ass. At this point in time, seems like whatever you do on facebook, can land you in facebook jail.

Well...I'm going to leave it at that. I only decided to write a blog about this topic because I am in FACEBOOK jail for who knows how long. And just take this as a warning, if you are PROMOTING any business on facebook, be very cautious! Check out the article I came across that was written by JULIE BECKER.
