Plus minus using social media and alternative

In technology era, almost people in world have computer, tablet, or smartphone. Some people have social media. With social media, we can meet old friend. With social media, we can meet family that have not meet any years. With social media, we can sell our product besides work at office. We can write, upload image and document, upload music and video, get hot news anything.

That is all positive thing that we can do. But, social media is like knife with two eyes. If the knife used by chef, chef can make it for cut vegetables. But, if knife used by robber, robber can use it to threat someone. So, do I forbid someone use social media? No, I do not tell someone not use social media. We can use social media, but we must use it wisely. We must use it with responsibility. We must follow technology development if we do not want become primitive person.

Why I write about this? Because there are many people use social media to post hate speech. Hate speech can persuade someone to hate each other. And that is very dangerous. We can hate own schoolmate. We can hate own citizen in same country.

So, if we do not want to have social media, it is not problem. We can do something else that more useful, such as invesment at cryptocurrency, make online education such at Udemy, play games, learn motivation, and anything that positive. Not must use social media. See you next time.
