You Are Being Trained Not Educated

Why are we so dumb? Because it’s part of the agenda.

With any social media platform or media content platform in general the purpose of the content is to get as many views as possible. The Steemit community members can of course relate to this; the more views you get the better. A step farther and not only the more views you desire but the more “up” votes and getting up votes will produce more credits! YouTube is similar, the more views the more currency is paid. Facebook incentive for being popular is ad revenue; but has easily transitioned into a media company. I’ve heard it best when someone said about Facebook; “when I become the product I choose not to use the platform anymore”.

Of course, this is not a new model. Media companies have been doing it for a long time. In fact any point in history we can see propagandist groups controlling the social movement of the masses. Social engineering makes it easier to control the population.

If the headline is sensational dribble or vulgar it will get views.

However when the benchmark of an idea, video, post, etc is popularity then we can gauge where society is at. It would be easier for anyone to verify this statement by simply reviewing the most popular videos and then compare them to the least popular videos that have some substance. For instance; Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off video has 2.4 billion views while a video on The Dumbing Down of America, only has barley 30k views.

Again verify this by displaying two different options to a group of kids; one, either watching videos about “disastrous mishaps and general stupidity”, or watching a video about parents getting arrested for speaking out at a state education meeting. If you play both, you will get intent viewing from the former and a lame glance at the latter.
We won’t get physically arrested now in this net neutral world for speaking the truth against a global elite, we will simply get censored:

We have been led to believe that we do not need to question what we’ve been taught. We believe what our public education has told us. We are comfortable in our homes and our conveniences. We are comfortable in our average jobs with our secure retirements and health care benefits. We would rather be entertained than educated. We would rather let others do the thinking for us or worse, let the tyranny of the majority (or minority) rush over us like a tidal wave. We would rather be part of the system than challenge it.
