Oxycodone, and It's Effects on Social Anxiety

It's been a while since I've done one of these. In fact, I actually tried Oxycodone a couple of weeks ago and it didn't even occur to me to make this post until right now. I've gradually strayed away from this type of content, mainly because for someone just skimming through a lot of my drug related social anxiety posts I can see them interpreting it as me saying to exclusively use drugs in order to function on a day to day basis, and that's not the methodology for dealing with these type of things I want to push forward. Drugs can be valuable tools for both getting over that initial hump when dealing with your fears, and to make very important anxiety inducing events go over smoother (Think job interviews, first dates, big presentations) in other words, not just going out to the store, or trying to make friends. Those are things which you should learn not to rely on outer influences to accomplish. However for anyone I may be able to help with these, I'll continue to put the information out there from time to time. But I'm done ranting, lets get to it.

For anyone who may not know, Oxycodone is an opioid agonist. It's commonly perscribed by doctors to patients who's pain is too severe to be treated by Hydrocodone, so in other words it's a hell of a lot stronger. Now I'm not the biggest fan of opiate drugs, although I haven't tried very many. They just tend to leave me spaced out on the couch instead of doing anything social or productive, especially Hydrocodone. If you're into that kind of thing then do you, it's just not my thing. That's part of why I love kratom so much. It has a similar body high as opiates, but without the mental apathy and lethargy. Oxycodone though, I found to be much different. It didn't sedate me nearly as much as Hydrocodone does, and actually really promoted sociability and productivity. Plus it didn't turn me into a near sociopath as other opiates do, and actually gave me quite a bit of euphoria which was really unexpected.

As for it's effects on social anxiety, I'd probably equate it to kratom. With the way I've seen most people describe oxy I'd think it'd turn me into a social god, with a more meaningful effect than any drug I've ever tried. However I didn't find that to be the case. It just made me happy, slightly more carefree than usual, and helped keep my thoughts in the present moment at hand. Actually the more I think about it I'd honestly even put it slightly below kratom in that respect, although it without question had an effect. From what I've heard about the effects this substance has on others, I wouldn't suggest it to anyone with an addictive personality. While I personally still have half a bottle in my cabinet which I haven't touched since my first experience, not everyone feels the same way about opiates as I do. I know for some it's simply the best feeling on earth and shouldn't be taken lightly.

Overall, if you have a really important event coming up, or just want a little push to get over the initial hump of doing something for the first time. Oxycodone will definitely help, however in my experience there are a plethora of other substances which can aid you much more. I would personally suggest Kratom or Phenibut before this. Or if opiates are just your thing I'd even take Tramadol for that purpose before Oxy. That's just me though, your mileage may vary.
