After Bernie Sanders ran for president as a democratic socialist hundreds of people of be inspired to run for awesome and a lot of them have won. For example, Lee Carter in Manassas, Virginia. Also Alexandra Casio-Cortez in Nyc, New York. The socialist movement is healthy, strong, and growing. Unionization is also an important step but that's for another article.
