What Have We Been Up To?
It’s been a busy few weeks for the Sociall team. We’ve been hard at work updating the closed beta, and we’re currently implementing some major changes to the platform, as well as continuing to remove bugs and issues. There will be more invitations to the closed beta going out before the end of the week. So if you’re still eagerly waiting, your time is coming!
The first stage of our security audit has just been completed. With only a few issues found and nothing major, our team is currently working to address these problems, and have them fixed in the next week or two. Once all the vulnerabilities are patched, the security team will re-test to ensure these issues have been resolved. Following this, Sociall will finally go open source and open beta, and everyone will be able to get involved!

There’s also been heaps going on for the Sociall community lately.
As many of you know, the #ReplaceFace campaign on Twitter concluded over the weekend. It’s been hilarious reading all the clever ways you’ve said goodbye to Facebook. Thanks to everyone who got involved, and stay tuned for the announcement of the winners over the next few days. If you haven’t had a chance to check out all the great responses, head to our Twitter and treat yourself to a midweek giggle—or better yet, give us a follow and you’ll be the first to know about the next chance to get creative and win some prizes.
We also had our SCLock competition last week, and it was really exciting to see so many Sociall supporters from around the world competing to win some extra SCL. Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun and put their Sociall knowledge to the test—we hope you learned something new! We’ve just released the answers to each of the questions and announced the winners, so head over to our Medium page to see how you went.
With the open beta getting closer and closer, it’s been really fantastic to feel the anticipation building around Sociall. It’s clear there’s something special going on here, so be sure to join us on Telegram to get amongst all the excitement with the rest of our growing community.
