WHEN SEARCHING FOR THE SMOKING GUN ONLY LEAD TO YOU SHOOTING YOURSELF IN THE FOOT

My recent efforts into investigating have been sporadic for which I apologize. I have neglected my Steemit and feel bad about it so my markdown formatting could be bit rusty. So please bear with me, reader.

A CHANGING LANDSCAPE IN A CHANGING WORLD

I’m going to slip back into this complex world and give you a bit of advice that I think is crucially important now.

Back on the steem train and right into the thick of it. Social media platforms, cross promotion, chat servers, news streams, information and disinformation everywhere! Head was whirling, eyes were crossed. Tripped over my own feet and dropped my spaghetti.

Steemrolling back into twitter with gusto and felt like I was about to step into a room in my house I didn’t know was there. I had to open the door carefully.

The subtle change was imperceptible at first. After being inactive for weeks, it was easy to notice profiles that were very active and used to fill my twitter feed with thought-provoking content worthy of a deeper scrutiny were not there.

Confused, I floated between the profiles of old favourites, old friends, new allies and the never-ending retweeting of every political pundit on the face of the world. Trying to absorb this all I thought to myself, How did I ever get anything out of Twitter at all?

SOCIAL MEDIA DIET CAUSED BY S H I T S T O R M

After the Tucson event earlier in June, I decided to take a break from Social Media and Twitter in particular. It got too hectic for me and a few others on there with the sudden increase in volume which further led to an increase of bullshit. The hectic part was is that it felt very targeted and planned, engineered specifically to sew doubt and discord.

I still believe this was a concerted and co-ordinated operation by deadweight agencies or organisations. Struggling to maintain relevancy, these organisations and their operations are an ineffective flailing of feathers against chainmail armour, or just an attempt to piss into an ocean of piss.

Their sudden influx signifies that someone is taking notice and wanting to disrupt me and those who work on parallel lines with me. I call them deadweight because whoever is behind it (probably some quasi-government think tank or globalist interest), cannot fathom their ineffectiveness. Let them waste their assets and effort, it’s not going to stop our efforts.

Outside of the Tucson shillstorm, there’s been a shift in attitude from those who want to ‘help’. I have seen barely legible tweetstorms of vague links, copy pasted information and confusing infographs being treated by those who take their discovery as gospel. This gospel is so important, such a smoking gun to whoever discovered it, that they are compelled to spread it and share it to already established and proven allies in this world of shitstorms and subterfuge.

Then they become insulted when the tidal wave of spurious claims, far-fetched theories and completely unproven information that is sometimes presented in a schizophrenic DUMP of information, is not taken as gospel, a smoking gun, a holy grail containing all truth within it.

The above scenario is common now. I even mediated between two followers who were in this same situation. One was understandably irate at the spurious claims and information that was tweeted to them and the other was resolute to the point of indignation that this was the next huge discovery that would bring down absolutely everything and everyone they saw as an enemy.

LISTEN: searching for a smoking gun can get yourself shot in the foot. By blithely lumbering through the dark and overgrown woods of internet information you could be warning the prey you hunt of your presence. Stepping on twigs that snap to make a sound like a whip cracking to your prey. They will run off and all because you were so full of zeal over your ground-breaking discovery to even watch where you were walking.

In terms of physics you could also describe such a scenario to where opposite forces converge and butt heads in the middle, only to lose each other’s momentum and energy from the inertia. What a waste of energy.

There will be a time when we have to converge and go through the breach but don't fuck up those who force is running in parallel to ours.

This is a simple example of what a successful investigation looks like

Information is received

To admissable and accurate evidence

That could be used...

...Once it has been verified and had it’s admissibility as evidence assessed.

Then this evidence is again assessed to see what
could be that evidence used for? The following come to mind;

• Educational purposes. Spreading awareness of present dangers to reduce harm and risk of harm occurring

• Legal Proceedings (Criminal). Investigations to gather evidence for criminal cases require that the evidence submitted to support the case will prove beyond all reasonable doubt that a crime is committed. This means that on the balance of probabilities, any reasonable person would be compelled by the strength of the evidence to have the case proven without any doubt of it being true.

• Devil’s Advocacy or researching a theory/hypothesis. This is not an investigation that is undertaken for a quantifiable goal. You are merely opening another thread of discussion, exploring possibilities. You like millions of others out there. It could help but realise it could hinder too.

• Memes. Most fun of all! Not much applies here.

My return to this world saw me amongst a landscape of wasted energy that has not considered the above basic process that guides the purpose of any successful investigation.

I saw plenty of hypotheticals thrown about like lost packets of information. The throwers of these packets got pretty angry when their packet is lost, ignored, rejected or derided. I assume that they are at the Devil’s Advocacy stage and don’t realise they could be doing something wrong or at best wasting energy being benign. It's sad but obvious that such individuals with their packets are just doing what millions of others are, thinking they are helping.

TEMPERANCE IN TUCSON

Earlier in June…

I’m currently looking at Tucson, Arizona. And I can’t clearly state what I think is happening because the timeline with it's puzzling events are still unfurling, right now as I type.
I will share my experience from the last couple of days in relation to this for you as I feel it’s a pretty exemplary bunch of shit occurring with spurious goals.

Coming back online and finding Veterans4ChildRescuee under a concentrated twitter bot attack with shills, sowers of doubt and division shocked me. Craig Sawyer and V4CR are possibly the only organisation in their area of expertise which I hold in high esteem. I have been following them for around 10 months now; from their early infancy to now keenly watching this organisation grow and happy that we want the same results.

It’s been enthralling following them and I can say honestly, they are a role model to others who want to do the same.

I’ve also realised that I’m not capable of making experienced and professional assessments in relation to what is occurring like other specialised organisations can. This is important for us all to recognize and keep at the forefront of our mind when the trend is to so gleefully seek to discredit others for anything possible.

Everyone has their little pulpit on social media which they use to elevate themselves for their own satisfaction. The majority of social media users want to feel like they are helping and social media provides an easy way to do that with sharing, retweeting, resteeming or clicking “like”. Very easy way of validating our desire to be virtuous. Very, very easy.

So being fresh and bright-eyed after my social media diet, I returned eager to share my views, defend those views out there I agreed with and question or attempt to disprove the views and versions of events that I didn’t agree with.

I don’t want to go over the details as to what occurred but my impression of the shitfight has made me more wary going forward. For those curious who want to learn some of the inconsistencies and questionable events, please check out Mersh’s article on his site “Revenge of the Cis” The Problem With Lewis Arthur. Mersh was very quick to get this article out and I think it helped a lot to throttle some of the insanity that was being propagated.

I have been banned from the team Pulaski – alpha base camp for posting some articles similar to Mersh’s onto their Facebook group wall. I did this because I did not like seeing mainly 40-60 year old women donating money in the form of giftcards to get their hit of hope porn.

There’s enough information out there now to use as further leads to follow and undertake your own investigation into the veracity of the claims made in Tucson Arizona and the reputation of those involved.

This Shitfight provided a perfect example of how hype can carry you away and drive you straight into recklessness. We all want to be the one that finds the smoking gun which proves the crime, it’s understandable. But it’s not achievable in a frenzied state where you are brimming with dopamine from the hope porn effect.

REFOCUS

It’s time to refocus on common goals. I have no enemies out in this world which I have not found and proved to be an enemy. This has to be our mindset instead of seeing enemies everywhere and treating those who do not believe your overzealous theories immediately like enemies too.

Just stop it. Rethink and consider. Make a Plan and Plan B. If you have a clear goal and have promising leads, you can get there and make it happen, alone or with others to assist.

Prove your case. Until then, be aware that there are forces with vested interests in almost every facet of your life which you might not understand or even are aware of existing. They are dangerous but not as dangerous as having the false assurance behind you that you hold the smoking gun.

Deep breaths people. Allies and Friends: Temperance is key. Our current times provide so many opportunities to plunge headlong into a hidden brick wall, a wall that might not have been there only moments before.

Tread carefully into the darkness ahead!
