My Personal & Professional Opinion😊:

By the end of the year, i think Facebook will have thousands and thousands of people reviewing, flagging, monitoring, and censoring “unwanted” content. It will continue getting much worse from here. Twitter, YouTube and others will follow suit, to avoid similar criticism/bad press. 

From a tech standpoint, this is what the transition into big AI looks like. Large amounts of “Data Steward” type jobs open up, essentially to mimic the process and train the algorithms over time (eventually censorship/flagging becomes 100% automated, also making those jobs irrelevant).

The AI world is dependent on collecting your data at scale for use by corporations and governments in bed together. It’s all about categorizing you into subgroups.

The Crypto world is the opposite in that data ownership and privacy are built into the technology. It’s all about personal sovereignty and voluntaryism. 

It’s clear Facebook, Google, etc are not going the Crypto route any time soon. They don’t care about individual users. They’re going the AI training, “fact checker”, and “regulation” routes, which can sound romantic in theory but are going to be devastating over time, as millions become disenfranchised and user growth stagnates (it’s already begun).
