When I figured out how to be successful, I thought other people should know how to do this as well.
So I decided to post it on Steemit.
Now what is Social media?
Social media influence and a solid following are a strong currency right now in the marketplace.
The more powerful you are online, the more successful you are as a brand, entrepreneur, and business entity.
To grow your online influence you have to have a consistent presence.
People need to see you.
So here are some tips on how to build your social media presence:
Start by focusing on two major platforms. It’s hard to be good at everything. You can master all the platforms over time, but start with a couple and build from there.
Don’t forget about email. I consider this another social media platform. If you're thinking long-term, an email list can be very powerful because of how much engagement and responsiveness you can get out of it. The only thing is it takes a lot of time to build up.
If you’re a new entrepreneur, start with the platform that will help you go viral. (It’s hard to do that on Snapchat, I’d recommend a Facebook Fan Page and a YouTube page.)
Stand out. There are so many distractions, so be persuasive and display authority on whatever your niche is.
Likeability also plays a huge role in social media. If you're someone who might not have huge authority in the niche you are in, you can use your likeability factor to increase your value to your followers.
The beautiful thing about learning this stuff is that you can grow your own social media influence and become your own brand.
We live in a special time in history where there is an abundance of businesses who have products and lack good marketing.
Social media marketing is one of the easiest and most effective ways to market a product. You can learn how to do this with little money or no experience.
