Another social network, which is sadly gone, was HumansApp, or simply Humans. In this app, users would create profiles, and select their interests and hobbies. Thus, based on the data, provided by users, the app would match users with similar interests and hobbies. Therefore, when users were matched, each user could wave at each other, and initiate the conversation. Of course, after responding, the other user had twenty four hours to respond. If a user would not respond, the conversation would be deleted, and they would be unmatched. Nevertheless, users could follow one another, and initiate the conversation again. The app also allowed to have a personalized nickname, my nickname, as usual, was pliutkus.
I remember using this app in 2021 and 2022. I had interesting conversations with people from different countries. Sadly, I did not manage to keep in touch with them. The last time, that I have used this app, was in December of 2022. If my memory serves me well, the app was shutdown in January of 2023. I really miss this app!
