Another social network, where I currently have an account, is known as One.lt. This was the first social network, that was available in Lithuania. The website, in itself, started as a marketplace for mobile games and ringtones. Initially, to have an account, on this website, a user needed to have a Lithuanian cell phone number. Now, anyone can register on this website. It was available only in Lithuanian language, now it is available in other languages, which includes English. At the same time, this website used to provide an e-mail address box. This feature, sadly, is no longer available. Furthermore, users could join groups. Currently, this feature is still available. At the same time they could write in other users guestbooks, known as forums. This feature, though is no longer available. Nevertheless, when Facebook became more popular, and dominant in social media marketplace, they copied a feature from Facebook, the user wall. Just as with Facebook, now users can post on their wall. At the same time, they can manage the privacy setting of their wall posts, just like Facebook. Before Facebook's popularity, users could only upload four pictures on their profile. However, this has changed with advance of Facebook, in 2009, when users could upload on their account unlimited amount of pictures. At the same time, this website started to allow users to create albums, just to maintain competition with Facebook. In addition, it started to allow, users to change their privacy features on the website. Users can decide what type of information they share publicly, to their friends, or to themselves. It is now a cheaper copy of Facebook. I used to spend time on this social network, between 2006 and 2009, in the peak of it's popularity. However, with the rise of Facebook, in 2009, I rarely have spent time on this site. I still have an account on this site. So, if anyone has an account on this website, feel free to add me.
