A new study by the University of Penn finds that Facebook is increasing the depression rate among millennials.
It is not only Facebook, but social media in general.
This is a continuation of the findings from past studies. There is more evidence that the link between social media and mental illness.

I kept my Facebook but I never use it. good thing I kept it though because my job required a whole bunch of references which I wouldn't of gotten if it wasnt for Facebook...but I can see how it can cause depression. People put way too much of their personal life on there...nowadays it makes me sick how people literally update everything in their lives on social media...thank god my partner and I stay away from that shit

Didn’t read the article but I’m guessing there is a correlation between fat, lazy, miserable people and social media users to begin with. Therefore higher depression rates. Why not blame it on social media instead of take accountability for yourself (not you, people in general).
