Let's protect the culture that protects us

The very survival of our identity.

Beware of cultural colonization Fuente

  • Where do we come from?

  • What things connect us to our ancestors?

  • What is the story told by the dirt we tread?

  • Who was there before?

  • Who planted that big tree in the town square?

Culture is a cornerstone of our identity. It connects us with the mistakes and successes of the past, it alerts us to modify our path so as not to make the same mistakes and repeat the successes.

It is necessary to defend regional cultures, not out of whim or sentimentality, but because the evolution of different societies was completely independent and gives us something invaluable, diversity. When there is variety, there is the possibility of finding different ways to develop the same activity.

This increases our chances of finding the most efficient way to work in any area.

Cultures are also of immense importance in protecting a nation from external conquest. In the game of international politics, conquest is not only not an exception but is the rule. The big state constantly seeks to subjugate and control the economies of weak states. And if I could take away your lands, I would do so without hesitation.

Throughout history, different states or kingdoms have expanded their influence and territorial control. Their methods were varied but effective, armed struggle, religious conquest, economic dependence, debt, imposition of habits and culture are some of the tools we can count on. These administrations, not stupid at all, protect their customs and cultures in a hermetic way. As the existence of the castes in England shows, they even have their own version of Christianity, just as the Russians, who did the same in this aspect, adopted Christianity, but with changes. This prevented external agents from manipulating their societies by way of religious conquest. Also the defense of native language and idiomatic expressions. These powers understand the importance of keeping their traditions alive as a way of isolating their political identity and sovereignty.

Small, third-world nations have no notion of the importance of being culturally protectionist. What causes them to swarm lost without their identity being transferred from generation to generation. Although there is always the factor of war as a method of conquest, you can see many Latin brothers with t-shirts with English or U.S. symbolism. The fascination with violent empires is a victory for the anti-culture imposed by the media and "fashion".

After all, many admire repressive and genocidal systems without understanding that their thinking is not their own but the fruit of a silent social manipulation that has been working tirelessly since the Cold War until today.

It is a pity to see how unwary citizens fall before these tricks, they do not have the defence mechanisms developed to repel the harmful manipulations of global marketing.

In the name of globalization, they colonize individual thought and make you love the one who seeks to subdue you.

Muy buen artículo mi estimado @cre47iv3. :)
