Today's Youth Doesn't See The Bigger Picture

in society •  8 years ago

So when I delve into this topic I have no bias as I'm 21 and can really see the world from a millennial point of view. I'm a young entrepreneur that's been independent since I was 17. I realized from a young age that there's a bigger picture than what I'm living. I came from no money, no silver spoon, no handouts. Here in America my generation as a whole is lazy because of how much we are babied and pampered these days. How can this generation, my generation, grow or progress when at such a young age most things were given to them? Short answer is we can't. Most people my age still live with their parents. Not to say there's anything wrong with that it's just how many are unemployed and still living with their parents. There's opportunities everywhere no matter who you are. I came from nothing and because of that I want to accomplish everything I put my mind to. There's no growth if there's no struggle is the saying and I believe that to the fullest extent. How can my generation grow out of idiocracy if they are happy being in that state?

Leave opinions below, I'd like to here everyone's voice on this matter. Us youth are the future, too bad it's not looking like a good one.
