All our life we have been told or in a more accurate meaning - we have been conditioned to believe that rich people have it all, the big house, the super car, ... and all that!
we think that rich people are happy all the time, enjoy their life more than us, and generally live a better life.
To our brainwashed minds, it makes sense to think that rich people are having a better life, because to a certain extent - we tend to think that rich people don't have the right to complain and whine about how difficult their life is, because we think they have it all, they don't have the right to complain. We think that MONEY has the power to solve ALL the problems in our life.
Money is just a tool.
Most people pursue money as their ultimate goal, and when they reach it, they keep being greedy and want more of it, because they didn't have clear goal in the beginning, and their subconscious-mind keeps torturing them about the fact that someone else is having more money than them, thus, they never feel satisfied.
Money is a means, not an end. It can help you turn your dreams into a reality, IF your dreams are closely tied to money (Money Dreams). For example, if you always dreamed about having your own yacht, then achieving that dream will make you happy. On the other hand, if you always dreamed about having a fuck buddy, then achieving that dream will make you happy as well. (aaand of course, you might not need money to do that Lmao!)
But of course, if money can make you happy, and you've a lot of money dreams, then there's no shame in that.
After all, we are all trying to bring more happiness to our life. But, i think it's not normal to have ONLY money dreams, you need to mix it up!
Money isn't everything. The best things in life are NOT things.
Fortunately, there are many things that can make a person happy other than Money. Things like; your family, good health, love, having loyal friends and the time to do what you want.
... And these are things that can't be bought with money, you need other means to enjoy having them in your life.
Long time ago, i had a friend who came from a poor family background, he lived with his parents, he had lots of siblings, sometimes he'd spend the night sleeping outside, he often didn't even have the money to have lunch that day, but despite all this, he had lots of friends, everyone loved him, he was one of those people that you feel very comfortable around, he had a very charismatic personality, and he always had a smile on his face. and i enjoyed spending time with him.
that was one of the life experiences that made me realize that money isn't everything, that you can be happy regardless of how much money you have, and that poor people are actually very nice.
Poor people are often the most generous.
I'm sure you've seen a lot of social experiments on YouTube about how homeless people are more generous -and it's very true - even though they don't have much, they are prepared to share with others.
Poor people are so much funnier.
they are positive thinkers despite their situation, and they often joke about how poor they are, this is really the true meaning of the phrase - see the positive in every situation.
just because you're poor doesn't mean it's the end of the world. and it's certainly doesn't mean that you are less worthy than someone who is more fortunate than you.
Finally, i'm just another poor happy guy who is trying to make some steem money, although i'm not really sure what that is.
