Linux kernel 4.12 released

Kernel 4.12 is one of the bigger releases historically. Features including a USB Type-C Manager

Really cool stuff. I'm honestly surprised that the USB Type C manager didn't come out earlier (but I guess most of the features were already supported through the existing Thunderbolt/USB systems). Another cool thing is that apparently a big portion of the code in this release was written by AMD to help with support for Vega. Really awesome that AMD is starting to embrace open-source so heavily.
