Before i got the game, i was looking at it thinking as follows:
OK it's from Squaresoft like FF7,
comes in 3 disc just like FF7,
Of course i'm going to get it alright. LOL sure enough i bought it and started playing it.
First thing off is i don't like the controls, it's the old kind of tank controls using the dpad and it's horrible. You look up and down using the L2 and R2 and and you move like a rock.
And considering at that time, i don't have an analog controller yet. I also doubt it will work with an analog controller function.
Story is very heavy with this game and Japanese at that. Tons of cutscenes and FMV just like a typical multi disc game of that era.
So if you don't understand Japanese, you can forget about understanding it.
It has cool music tho especially that vocal track "Quake" while you are running around like a rock trying to turn around as fast as you can to hit that monster like thing that is jump back and forth with you in the middle. Ok ok i'll stop with the ranting now.
It is a good game still with all my ranting but the horrible controls always makes me not want to continue with disc 2 and beyond.
Maybe you people have more willpower then i do, and give this game a playthrough till completion. I had fun but only within disc 1.
