A colander! Orientate the colander so that the bowl is facing the sun. Position 2-4 feet from the ground. You will see lots of little eclipses on the ground.

It was the 80s (of course) when I saw a full eclipse - beyond magical.
I was in Queens gardens in Nelson, New Zealand, by the duck ponds.
When it happened all the ducks went to sleep, the light that filtered through the trees cast little ringlets under the trees - in the shadows only
Stars sparkled under the trees .. magic baby ..pure magic!
