Destination unknown really at this point. In retrospect the failure to draw a better bearing line now leads us to getting further and further behind our safe passage timing for Porlier Pass. Couple this with the timing here now at Sand Heads and we could be in serious trouble.
This is only the beginning of our inexperienced adventure for the day. Can the "Black Hole Sun" handle it or will we run out of power. Stay tuned...
In hindsight I see the route line I had drawn but didn't helm to it soon enough. The waves are not small and they are breaking all over us. We are taking a beating as we are stuck broadside to the waves. Will we make it?
