This nintendo ds game was released, sometime during, super smash bros brawl. It's title is solatorobo. A game developed by the company Cyber connect 2. Wich did have a poor selling point in non Japanese areas. Thanks to nintendo don't a pretty crap job at marketing this game.
the game revolves around, a character called Red Savarin. A anthro wolf. With his adopted sister chocolate. Who do free lancing jobs exploring the lands in the skies. While, fighting off sky pirates . With Red's mech the dahawk. (reffering the cyber connect games dot:// hack. ) You use this mech to fight enemies in a pretty fun way.
Fly threw the skies, go fishing, and more. As you progress you meet a Boy named Elh. On a ship after, finding a strange medallion. While, monsters have attacked a ship. You progress threw a game with a really nice story. Tho at times it really can make you grow to the cast. With 2 stories in one. Done in a 3D and, visual novel style.
Solatorobo does a nice call back to games like Final Fantasy 7 art style in world maps done by hand. Most of the cast is unique. An even if you don't recall there names. How they acted and, look. will leave a lasting impression.
Just like cyber connects last dot://hack G.U. series. The music can be a hit or, miss. But, most of the ost sounds great. But, when the vocals pop up. you get a nice opera, classical, yet swaying style. That is easy to sing with. If you know dot://hack you can expect that same level of music production on this ds gem.
Sadly, with Nintendo being idiots. Knowing darn well fans wanted to see the game updated. The only way to play solatorobo legally. Is on a origional ds. The game is mostly region locked. So Nintendo dsi- 3D/2ds is not able to play this game. Even tho the Nintendo switch was lied about, being region locked.
There is no port or, way to play the game in HD on that system either. But, great news. Is Cyber connect 2. Announced the Little Bronkz series is getting a new game. So game like Tail concerto, Solatorobo, little tail story, and dot:// hack cast may make an appearance in this new game.
