Social Distortion - Story of My Life
I can identify with the overall sentiment of this song, and even some of the specific verses. This part especially is true for me:
And I went down to my old neighborhood
The faces have all changed
There's no one there left to talk to
And the pool hall I loved as a kid
Is now a 7-11
Except my old pool hall got split down the middle and is now a cell phone store and a Biggby Coffee. But when I go back to the neighborhood I grew up in, it's all different. Nothing seems familiar, and it certainly doesn't feel like home anymore.
