The best international songs that have come out of Israel in recent years.

In Israel many artists do not go abroad,
first of all, we really like our language(Hebrew) and we have a unique language.

The second thing is that there really are not many people here, and the ratio of talent among the total population is not great.

The third thing
In Israel, most people do not deal with art because there are many wars here And lots of politics.
Many people do not have time to indulge in leisure pursuits such as art, painting, writing, sport and more.

But out of all this chaos came some very talented people who came out of the borders of our small country.

So let's go!
I will present here a list of artists who have done this on the international scene through Israel

(Static and Ben El Tavori)
Brazilian song written in Hebrew.
It turns out that people in Brazil really got on that song.

Yael Naim, with an amazing song that is literally a soundtrack and was one of the greatest songs of his time on MTV

Riff Choen
In a French-Israeli gypsy style with two songs that have captured many musical marches

A slightly more European style

Of course how can you miss Nathan Goshen who claims to be an "average singer" with the song "Think about it"

How can we not talk about the huge singer who came to us straight from Jerusalem, who took more stages than any Israeli in Europe lately - Asaf Avidan

And there is also the more famous version of DJ Wankelmut

In this mess, you know Jason Drollo's DIRTY TALK?
so the beat is made by "Balkan BeatBox"
quality music!

and the beat of dirty talk by Jason Derulo.

Hermetico.

Another amazing singer who left the "American Idol" of Israel Marina Maximilian Blumin

A collaboration between the singer Enrique Iglesias and the Israeli Rotem Cohen

another beautiful song of Rotem choen -
Rotem cohen - Como El Agua ft. Descemer Bueno

This song is not a song that came out to the Western world so much, more in the East a beautiful Arabic song by Shimon Buskila and Performs Shiri Maimon as well.

of course Infected mushroom, more electronic music.

@amiramnoam - Wow. That is an impressive line up of talent for a country with such a small population compared to many other countries. I had never heard of any of them. I will hear them. Just heard a sample of Nathan Goshen and liked it very much.
Thanks for this treasure list. Upvoted.

Very nice songs ...beside very less population israel is very powerful country...they believe in technology that why i think they have less time for art...there is village of Israelis in my country (india) called kasol situated in himalyas.

I didn't know you were from Israel !!! I can't understand THE FIRST ONE as it is in hebrew.

NEW SOUL IS SUNG BY SOMEONE FROM ISRAEL?? I didnt know that.

Riff Cohen has quite a pumpy jumpy kinda song right there !!

This pretty much proves that art and talent can't remain hidden no matter which country it is !!

india has lot of amazing songs as well..
yeah im from Israel.
the first one has youtube subtitles. (I think)

Yeah but I don't like the indian song's lyrics very much. Too mainstream.

Well the subtitles are quite weird. Neither in english nor in hebrew :p Seems like they are a mixture. Lol :p

@amiramnoam - Just Awesome. I have never heard any of them mentioned above. Few of them seems to be very impressive. I wonder if they nurtured well with Music, Art, Culture or literature more, They'd have been unbeatable in any form or field. Just mark my words. As the coutry is small in size and population but their aggresive nature is commendable. Thnx anyways for sharing a treasure like this. It's worth bookmarking the article for my future development

Mind blowing....

I've seen a few of you before. Favorite is Riff Cohen - A Paris
From HeliaLarfi: This song is amazing! Made realise how much i missed my country "france" and feel like translating it for all of you:
a paris ya pas d'parking et ya des sans interdit = in paris there are no parkings and no entry sign ,
a paris ya des parfums ya des couleurs = in paris there are parfums and colors,
a paris ya des beaux sacs= in paris there are beautiful hand bags
sur le balcon ya mon parin= on the balcony my godfather,
dans maison des parquet = the floor of my house is covered in parquet,
a paris ya des millefeuilles= in paris there are puff pastries😉
Deliciously feel good song! @amiramnoam

Awesome post!
I've loved Asaf Avidan's music for a while - he's one talented guy with a unique voice.
I also have loved Balkan Beatbox for ages.
There's a couple bands from Israel that I love, but aren't on your list.
Shotey Hanevua - Kol Gal Gal is such a beautiful song and a classic!
Sheva - although they're not together anymore, I met them back in 2005 when they toured Australia and became good friends with Avishai and Amir, who moved to my town-area, Byron Bay/Mullumbimby.

I love nathan goshen song.
His voice is awesome. His songs in my playlist but I keep forgetting the title.
Im learning hebrew language now.
Anyone want to talk with me?

שלום ! בוקר טוב

I also make art. Its sad to hear not much people take time for art but id love to see any art from israelis.
